❓ FAQs

  • What areas do you cover? Shefford, Campton, Meppershall, Gravenhurst, Shillington, Biggleswade, Sandy, Clifton, Henlow, Arlesey,  Stotfold, Clophill, Silsoe, Flitwick, Ampthill and any other surrounding villages.

  • Are you insured? I always seek to carry out my work with the upmost care and attention but from time to time accidents happen in these situations I am fully covered by public liability insurance.

  • Do I need to be home during the visit? For our initial visit, I kindly ask that you are present so I can be properly introduced to your home, family, and the tasks you'd like support with. Once we've met and everything is clearly outlined, I’m more than happy to carry on working independently—giving you the freedom to get on with your day, knowing things are being taken care of.

  • What happens on the first visit? I will visit your home to discuss the specific tasks you would like assistance with. Following our discussion, and depending on the nature of the work, I will proceed accordingly to carry out the agreed-upon duties.

  • Are you DBS Checked? Yes and have it available if you would like to view it.
  • Deposit & Cancellation Policy? A £25 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session. This amount will be deducted from your final bill. If you need to cancel or reschedule, the deposit can be carried over—provided the session is rebooked within 2 months. I kindly ask for a minimum of 72 hours' notice for any cancellations or changes. Unfortunately, deposits are non-refundable if less than 72 hours’ notice is given.

  • Gifting My Services. While I do not offer physical gift vouchers at this time, I’m more than happy for you to gift a few hours of my services to a friend or family member. Whether it's for a new parent, someone recovering from illness, or simply a busy loved one who could use an extra pair of hands, this can be a thoughtful and practical way to show you care. Please get in touch to arrange a gifted session.
